How Commissions Work

Bullet; Blue Please have visual reference for your characters!! Be it pictures, drawings, SOMETHING!

Bullet; Blue Send an email to with all references & materials as well as a description of what you are looking to get.

Bullet; Blue I'll contact you and give you a quote for the piece and let you know your in my que.

Bullet; Blue Soon after I'll send you some quick pose sketches for your approval.

Bullet; Blue After we've settled on a pose it's at that time I'd ask full payment to be sent to

Bullet; Blue After payment has been handled I will finish up the linework and send it to you for approval.

Bullet; Blue If everything looks good, I'll go ahead and finish the piece up and send it back to you for final thoughts or corrections ( usually only 1 round is needed, if more than that is required I assume full responsibility of what needs to be done so long as it is to match what info was sent to me initially.

Do you still accept commissions for colors only?

Amazing skill, that say ill jsut mention, the rate itself is not the issue but rather if you only take full upfront, hope you dont mind me asking about it.

No, I understand the hesitation, the problem is I've just been burned too many times in the past. People dissapear, or pay the second half months later. It's something I didn't want to have to do, but I've talked to other artists I know, and outside of major publisher commissions they all do it this way. Heck, a few don't even do the sketch first!

The fact is, I know the rate seems like a lot but when you count how many hours I put into it, it's literally like working at Taco Bell ( only way more fun lol ) I just can't afford to throw the time away.

Thank you for the comment!

oh i understand that, most people only  think on their side, not how much work is put into eac hpice, if it make you feel more confortable is ok to see miine? i think  a solid background is better than  just words.

i have learn a lot of artist over the years, he/she has the biggest responsability on all ofthis, the other just have o  pay in time.
